A rare very early 18thC. William and Mary original ball footed two drawer and two simulated drawer blanket chest. Original snipe hinges, cleats and unusual single crease molded lid. White pine with oak support frame for the ball feet. Older brown paint over older red. Brasses are good replacements for the originals. This blanket chest has very early and unusual drawers that are original. One drawer is side hung and the other is done traditionally. The chest has single arch molded facade. Measurements: 36 3/8"H x 36 3/4"W (top 38 3/4" x 20 1/2"D) A great and original survivor.
Wonderful 18thC. open top/cant back pewter cupboard with original crown moldings with modified butterfly hinges. Cupboard has original slate blue wash as first surface. Mustard yellow over paint. Measurements: 7' 1 ¼" H x 49"W x 20"D. Great size!
Press Bed: An excellent and hard to find 18th C. Press Bed in perfect condition. It has a New Hampshire origin from the Bartlett family of Portsmouth. This bed has it's original crane tester and it also has the original red/brown wash. The side rails were extended several years ago.
